#645 – Creatures Live Under Your Fingernails. Who Are They?

First there’s Brutus.  He’s the big man on campus, so to speak.  He stands apart from the others, mostly because of his black and white views on life.  Things are either great or their bad.  There’s rarely a happy medium for him.  Brutus is also the most violent of the bunch with his love of wrestling.  It’s a common sight to see him hitchhiking to his next fight.  He spends a lot of time on his own but not because he’s a bad guy.  He just needs a lot of space to practice his killer moves.

Dexter is his best friend and they do everything together.  That may be because Dexter is very straightforward.  He rarely misleads anybody and is always direct and to the point.  He’s also quick to point out mistakes and chastise bad behavior, but he’s an important member of the community with his ability to keep track of everything going on and his ability to point out any problems, obvious or not.

Fu is tall as Brutus is big.  It seems like his life purpose is to offend as many people as possible.  Quick to anger, Fu is never afraid to tell you exactly how he feels.  He’s not very popular and others usually don’t appreciate it when he shows up.  Fu doesn’t care though.

Romeo is the romantic of them all.  A pretty lazy guy, he doesn’t really do much except dream of love.  However, when he finds that one he wants to be with, he carries it with pride for everyone to see.

Tim is the baby of the group.  Small, weak, and fragile, he often needs protection because he’s always getting himself banged up.  Eager to help, Tim is always getting in the way and is sometimes more of a hindrance than a help.  Still, the others admire his persistence and need to be a member of the group. They don’t always get along, but together they make a great team and can accomplish more than they ever can alone.  That’s what makes them such great friends.

Behind the Random: A fun challenge, I had this one figured out before I even started writing it.  I like when that happens.  It makes the whole process run that much smoother.  I was considering ending it with a bit about how, when danger rises, they would combine into one force but I couldn’t think of a suitable name for it.  Aw well…
